The 2026 rent is £9.80 per pole and a £3 contribution to the site’s Public Liability Insurance.
The 2027 rent is £10 per pole. The contribution to the site’s Public Liability Insurance TBC.
The rent is set by Luton Council every year. It increases in line with inflation. The increase for 2026 is 3.2%. That is 30 pence. See luton.gov.uk/allotments
The rent for 2027 is due on 1 October 2026 and should be paid by 31 October 2026.
You can pay in person at the allotment hut on four weekends in October. You can pay by cheque or cash. Cheques should be made payable to The Stockingstone Road Allotment Association.
